After a long debate by the Rewind judging panel, Manuel Debaes (aka DJ Manism) has been chosen as the winner of the Rewind DJ Contest! This Saturday 3rd September you can watch him live at the Openfields Festival 2011 (in the Rewind Zone) from 14:00 to 15:00!
He will play along aith Kaiserdisco, Tony Rohr, Pierre, the Rewind DJ‘s and many others!
Check out his dynamic set, well-mixed with a great selection of tracks that will be even better live at Openfields!

Manuel Debaes a.k.a. Manism was born on 7th April 1990 in Kortrijk, Belgium. At an early age he already came in touch with one of his biggest passions, music. At the age of 17 he decided to become a DJ but soon after, he was looking to take his passion a step further and he started to produce his own music..
Manism has played already at a lot of parties in the region of Kortrijk, looking to perfect his music skills every day.
His style is mostly recognized as a fusion of tech-house, minimal and techno.

David Caruana, light tamer, experiments with video projectors.
Former graphic designer, he collaborates with a lot of different artists from different disciplines such as musician, stylist, painter…
Thanks to those collaborations, he increased his technical and creative talents!
He’s working on the fight between ancient art and technology.
Painting is difficult to be renewed and it feels like everything had already been done.
David explores it again with light projections, on new materials, wich add a new dimension to it!
